Midwesterner by location and Texan by birth, I enjoy the good life with my husband, baby daughter, our two cats, and our Bernese Mountain dog. When I'm not writing, you can find me reading, hiking, or horseback riding.
I have a B.A. in English with minors in Creative Writing and Interactive Digital Studies.
The English major in me loves classic literature, but I don't stop there. I enjoy a broad range of books and my writing reflects that. As I've developed my skills, I've dabbled in fantasy, sci-fi, nonfiction, poetry, and romance. But my personal favorite (to read and to write) will always be historical fiction. For me, the research involved is just as much fun as the writing itself!
