About Me

Picture
Midwesterner by location and Texan by birth, I enjoy the good life with my husband, our two cats, and our Bernese Mountain dog. When I'm not writing, you can find me reading, hiking, or horseback riding.

I have a B.A. in English with minors in Creative Writing and Interactive Digital Studies.

The English major in me loves classic literature, but I don't stop there. I enjoy a broad range of books and my writing reflects that. As I've developed my skills, I've dabbled in fantasy, sci-fi, nonfiction, poetry, and romance. But my personal favorite (to read and to write) will always be historical fiction. For me, the research involved is just as much fun as the writing itself!

With everything that I do, I aim to glorify God and bring others joy with my writing.
