When The Tide Comes In

Short fiction
I wrote "When The Tide Comes In", a short magic realism fiction story, in 2014 and submitted it to several online magazines at the encouragement of my Creative Writing professor. I finally got a hit with Yesteryear Fiction! For the very first time in my life, I could officially say that I was a published author. It was one the best feelings in the world knowing that all my hard work had paid off. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for this one.

Fun fact: Being a huge documentary/mockumentary/docudrama/anyotherkindofmentry fan, I was inspired to write this after watching the entertaining "Mermaids: The New Evidence" mockumentary.
